I’d like to say that my 4 years in Business English were the best years ever.
Hello, I’m Jemberlyn from the Philippines and I’m proud to say that I have a degree of Bachelor’s in Art, majoring in Business English(BE). Oh, how I miss my university student days, hanging out with friends, the activities and of course, studying! We did a lot. The practices, communicating, doing research and group projects. Ugh, those things I did to maintain good grades.
Hold your thought! It’s not just all work though, we also had a lot of fun! We had fun activities, for instance ‘The BE Fair’, where everyone plans and executes their own businesses, ‘Christmas party’, where games, contests and awards are present, oh! and we BE students are in charge of planning and organizing along with our instructors, and there were many more activities.
In Business English, we learn English with a twist. There’s a new thing every day. You experience different things and that’s a good thing because I’ve always believe that diversity is beauty. I’d say I learned a lot and I’m happy I’m able to apply my knowledge and skills in every field of work. Honestly, I’ve part-timing in my university days, I’ve been a service crew, customer service representative, airport staff trainee and currently, I’m officially an English teacher. I’m truly thankful for my supportive friends, efforts and teachings of my instructors, and the course itself, Business English that shaped me this way.
So, as a First-Class Honor student of Business English, here’s what I want you to keep in mind: BE CURIOUS. BE DILIGENT. BE PASSIONATE. BE YOU.
